How to embroider an image?
To embroider an image is a tempting moment in coding with TurtleStitch.
The first step would be done in Snap!(https://snap.berkeley.edu) to scan a image and save the result into a list.
The second step would be done in TurtleStitch(https://www.turtlestitch.org) to convert the list into a design whitch could be outputed and be used by an embroidery machine.
Scan an image with Snap!
Let's open this project https://snap.berkeley.edu/snap/snap.html#present:Username=sussimong&ProjectName=Suzhou
There are two sprites in this project."Dice" sprite works for scanning. This sprite got its name from the inspiration of Jen's Mönig's project on how to compose a dice array to show a picture. The "Pic" sprite holds the pictures to be scanned.
Drag drop a picture onto the "Costumes" pane of the sprite "Pic".This time I select a monochrome Chinese painting depicting the black tiles and white walls of Suzhou local dwellings.
